My name is Kristina Triplett.
I'm the owner of Pixel Pup Studios, and I'm honored that you decided to visit my site.
I am a boutique photographer specializing in pets, and creating photographic artwork to decorate your home.
I hold your hand through a full service boutique experience. From a personalized consultation where we discuss your pet's personality, its likes and dislikes, and how you appreciate your pet and their place in your home. We'll discuss what type of heirloom product you would like such as a large canvas or framed are, as well as art placement on the walls of your home, or maybe you'd prefer a photo album that will hold the images from your session. From there we'll meet for an order presentation where I help you select the best images to create the art specifically for your project.
I'm not the photographer that expects you to take home digital files and figure out what to do with them.
I specialize in creating heirloom quality photographic artwork! (On canvas, framed or metal) Your artwork is designed to be displayed in your home to be enjoyed and appreciated, while over time becoming a treasured heirloom. Some of my clients write a note on the back of the artwork knowing they will eventually pass the artwork on to their loved ones, so they can display it in their own home or office.
With custom portraits, you can decorate your home with meaningful artwork that represents the love shared between pets and family members. I am passionate about how portraits bring the family together and make a house, a home. This is what I want for you and your family!

My Story
When I was 11, my dad passed away, and while I have many wonderful memories from our short time together, there are 2 things that have kept me feeling connected to him for the 40 years we've been apart.
His love of animals and his love of taking pictures.
Mom and I have always had a pet in the house and I've shared this gift of loving animals with my family.
Our family pets have gotten us through hurricanes, losses, and even medical diagnoses. Just like they did with my dad. In my dad's photography lab, he developed a black and white, profile-image of me. He enlarged it and proudly displayed it in my childhood home. The large size of the image captured my eyelashes, tiny nose and round cheeks. As a child, when I saw that image hung prominantly in my home, I knew I was valued and loved. Of course my parents told me as well, but seeing is believing and my friends seeing it was a bonus. LOL
However, as an adult, when I see that image I know I always have a place where I belong.
I appreciate how all of our furry companions completed my childhood home.
Dad gave me a piece of himself to carry with me, for always. Pictures and the love of a pet!
That’s why I feel so strongly about my clients having beautiful artwork to display in their homes.

In 2007, after Hurricane Katrina, I opened Furrytails Pet Spa, which is now located at 1124 Huey P Long Ave, in Gretna, La. Furrytails is known as the Pet Spa that understands your pet is unique, and we treat them that way!
During my time as a groomer I pampered 100s of pets, and now I bring the same compassion, gentleness and ability to understand your pet's uniqueness, to Pixel Pup Studios.
Remembering our pets, means capturing images now and displaying them in our homes and offices!
